We were commissioned by our long-term clients, The English Football League, to produce a virtual version of the 2021 Community Awards. The awards show was streamed fully live from our London studio and we worked with our virtual event platform partner to manage registrations and provide a secure, bespoke streaming solution for the event. The show was hosted by Scott Minto with EFL Chairman, Rick Parry as the studio guest, with award-winners joining us down the line.
Presenter: Scott Minto
Director: Will Kinder
Producer: Des Paul
We work regularly with the EFL on content production and they approached us to create a concept for a virtual version of the EFL Community Awards, which are normally held as live event at the House of Commons. Our regular live studio in London was the perfect setting for this event as it is a live backdrop of Parliament and provided a good way of opening the show and explaining the transition from live show to virtual. Our approach to all our virtual content is the same, which is to use our broadcast experience across the production, which means that we are fully tested and prepared when we go live. Feedback from the client and audience was very positive and it was a great way to strengthen our working partnership with the EFL even further.
