‘Flavours of Dubai’ was a branded content video series for Dubai Tourism and Yahoo EMEA. We took Celebrity Masterchef Winner and ‘Pussycat Doll’, Kimberley Wyatt to Dubai to sample the diverse and surprising food scene ahead of the annual Dubai Food Festival. From street food to dining underwater at the world-famous Atlantis hotel, we travelled across the region to see what was on offer. Our strong production experience of filming abroad along with our local partners made the process smooth and efficient, with the resulting films outliving their intended shelf-life and being used on Emirates global network as part of their ICE inflight media content.

The brief from Dubai Tourism was to create a branded content mini-series ahead of the Dubai food festival. The audience were a mixture of local Emirati people, foreign residents and tourists. We wanted the series to have a presenter with a credible link to food, and worked with our talent network to secure Kimberley who had just won Celebrity Masterchef. We have a lot of experience of working in other regions and first and foremost, we understand cultural differences and how this can impact the creative and the production process. In Dubai, this meant how we talked about food, where we filmed and how we showed people on screen needed to be thought about very carefully. Production took place over 5 days with a separate recce ahead of the shoot.
